About Chloe

about me.

I work by moving fluidly—and often impulsively—across techniques and materials. Each gesture is an attempt at listening: to what is missing, to what breaks, to what remains. I overlap, cut, and reassemble. Fragments that seem incompatible find an unstable balance. I am drawn to the crack, the imperfection, the mistake that becomes part of the language. These marks turn into traces, into physical memory, and the pictorial gesture becomes a form of writing. I am building a visual alphabet, a non-verbal diary. Each work is a living, open fragment. I do not want to explain; I want to let it generate questions. I build windows: spaces to cross, to look through, in which to lose oneself or to find oneself.
